Planned and leadership giving

Trust your legacy to the Canadian Cancer Society.

At the Canadian Cancer Society, our vision is to champion world leading outcomes in cancer prevention, treatment and support.

We are a national, community-based organization of staff and volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

We set ourselves apart from other cancer charities by taking a comprehensive approach against cancer. We are also the only national charity that supports all Canadians living with cancers across the country.

When you support the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), you’re doing more than simply making a donation. You’re helping the nearly half of Canadians who are expected to hear the words “you have cancer”in their lifetime.

Your donation will be put to work immediately — we need your help to change the future of cancer forever.

Please read on as you consider ways to give.

Estate and planned giving

Remembering the Canadian Cancer Society with a planned gift is a way of giving that is thoughtful, generous and it can help change the future of cancer.

Leadership giving

The Leadership Giving team across Canada works personally with philanthropic leaders who believe in making life better today and transforming the future of cancer forever. We would be pleased to discuss how you may wish to be involved with Canadian Cancer Society projects, programs and research.

Gifts of securities

By supporting the Canadian Cancer Society with a gift of securities, you eliminate the capital gains tax that you would have paid if you sold the securities and donated the proceeds. Securities can include stocks, mutual funds, and employee stock options.
