Find cancer early
How well do you know your body? @(Model.HeadingTag)>
Knowing what is normal for you helps you notice changes. When you notice something different about your body – like a new growth or lump, increased fatigue or dramatic weight loss – it needs to be checked out. When cancer is found early, it’s often easier to treat.
With many things postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it may seem like a good idea to put off contacting your healthcare provider until later. You may be nervous to visit them in person during this time, but increased safety measures in offices mean that you can see a healthcare provider safely. Many healthcare providers are also finding new ways to reach their patients virtually and by phone.
Cancer doesn’t stop during a pandemic. A change to your body might be nothing, but it might be serious. Always see a healthcare provider if there are any changes to how you’re feeling or you have new physical symptoms. Get changes checked sooner rather than later.
