We are pleased to announce the results of the Prostate Cancer Implementation Research Grants competition. For the purposes of this program, Implementation Research is defined as: the scientific study of the use of strategies to adopt and integrate evidence-based health interventions into clinical and community settings to improve individual outcomes and benefit population health. Below is a listing of newly awarded Implementation Research Grants.

Out of a total of 13 grant applications reviewed, 3 Canadian Cancer Society Implementation Research Grants have been approved – a 23% success rate. Funds committed to this competition have been made possible by the significant efforts of donors and volunteers supporting the former Prostate Cancer Canada across the country. These projects total about $300,000 in funding over the full term of these grants.
