The relationship between iA Financial Group and the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) began 30 years ago, and the strong partnership built in the time since has been one rooted in a shared vision of a brighter future for people experiencing cancer in Canada.
Over the past 3 decades, iA has been an incredible supporter and partner of CCS, giving generously to fund world-class cancer research, and to provide essential support for people living with the disease. But iA’s commitment to the mission of CCS is about so much more than financial contributions. For iA, it is about giving back to the communities they are part of.

Through the years, iA has proven to be a steadfast ally in the collective effort to take on cancer and has provided support for a diverse number of CCS initiatives, including Relay for Life, the Gala des Grands Chefs in Montreal and this year, championing the Community Services Locator. For iA, giving back is an integral part of the fabric of who they are.
“It’s in the DNA of the company. As an insurance company, we understand that we need to plan during the good times for the bad times that may come. We know that hardship can come at any point in time and affect anyone,” says Alnoor.
“Our goal is to offer a helping hand whenever possible. It’s not only a question of empathy for others’ pain, but also a recognition that this can happen to anyone, and we all have our part to play in fighting this terrible disease.”
