People with Lynch syndrome have a high risk of developing colorectal cancer. Lynch syndrome also increases the risk of endometrial cancer (a type of uterine cancer) as well as pancreatic, ovarian, stomach and small intestine cancers.
Also called hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC).
