Door to door fundraising

Become a monthly research donor

Your monthly donations will help fund world-leading cancer research when you give to our door-to-door campaign.

The Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) is fundraising door-to-door in Canadian communities to secure long-term monthly donors in 2025.

With nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, we urgently need steady and sustained funding to accelerate cancer research breakthroughs to improve and saves lives. That’s why our door-to-door program was designed to reach people in communities across the country.

We work with a company called TNI The Network Inc. to ensure our door-to-door fundraisers have the information and training they need to inspire people to become a monthly research donor.

Our fundraisers follow Imagine Canada’s standards and best practices for fundraising, and are equipped with the most up-to-date information about CCS to answer any questions you may have. When you sign up as a new monthly donor, a representative from TNI verification centre will call you from the number 1-877-227-2797 to review and confirm your details.

At CCS, we are making a real impact in saving and improving the lives of everyone affected by cancer in Canada.

Our bold approach to funding innovative, world-leading research is making life better today while transforming the future of cancer forever. Last year, we funded 223 talented lead researchers and 119 clinical trials. Life-saving research is taking place in hospitals and cancer centres across the country. See our impact report to learn more.

We provide trusted information and compassionate support programs nationwide, including cancer information through cancer.ca, transportation services to help get to and from treatment, our toll-free helpline, and an online support community.

Our advocacy efforts benefit people from coast to coast to coast. CCS works with governments to bring about healthy public policies, such as successfully advocating for an extension of the Employment Insurance (EI) sickness benefit from 15 to 26 weeks so that people with cancer have more time to focus on treatment and recovery.
No, CCS door-to-door fundraisers are not volunteers. They are paid an hourly salary and do not receive a commission.
