A system used to describe the extent (stage) of a cancerous skin tumour.
Breslow’s classification is based on the thickness (depth) of a tumour in millimetres (mm). It is usually measured from the top of the tumour or base of the ulcer to the deepest cancer cells.
Also called Breslow’s thickness or Breslow’s depth.
