About our online community @(Model.HeadingTag)>
When you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer, our online peer support community is here to help. You’ll find people who have been there, who can offer support, tips and insights from their lived experience. Membership in this community is free, and open to people 18 years of age and older.
Here are just a few of the topics that CancerConnection.ca members are discussing:
• stress and waiting for test results
• coping with treatment and side effects
• self-care tips for caregivers
• living with advanced cancer
• how best to communicate and ask questions of their healthcare team
• where to find practical resources such as financial assistance, home care or transportation to treatment
No one should have to face cancer alone. Connecting with others who understand your situation and how you feel can help you cope. Knowing what to expect throughout your cancer experience can help you feel more hopeful and less anxious.
