A rare tumour that starts in the connective tissue of the breast.
Most phyllodes tumours are non-cancerous (benign). They can sometimes be cancerous (malignant) or have features of both non-cancerous and cancerous tumours (called borderline tumours).
Also called phylloides tumour.
