Description

A type of cancer that starts in the gland cells that make up the inner lining of some organs. It makes and releases mucus, digestive juices and other fluids. Adenocarcinoma is the most common type of breast, lung, esophageal, stomach, colorectal, pancreatic, prostate and uterine cancers.
