Find community with CancerConnection.ca

Join a Virtual Tea: Peer Support Meetup to take a moment for yourself and meet others who truly understand what you’re going through.

This is a new way to connect through CancerConnection.ca, the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS)’s online peer support community that has been offering a safe space for people with cancer, cancer survivors, loved ones and caregivers to connect, learn and share their stories for more than 15 years.

To join an upcoming Virtual Tea, simply register by emailing cancerconnection@cancer.ca.

Each week, you can join for Virtual Tea to hear from others, share your experiences and get support. Monthly caregiver gatherings are also available.

Sessions are drop-in and professionally facilitated by staff members.

“On cancerconnection.ca, you can post any time of the day or night to find support when you need it,” says Lacey Horta, Senior Manager of Peer Support.

“Now, we’re excited to offer our Virtual Teas as a continuation of our online community, and opportunity for new and experienced members to connect in a new way, ask questions, and share their experiences and perspectives."

Let’s come together for conversation, comfort and community.
